Hysteroscopy in the Investigation of Female Infertility

Abstract

|
One hundred seventy four- infertile patients had hysterosalpingography, endometrial biopsy and hysteroscopy as part of their infertility workup. A comparison between the findings of these three procedures was carried out to study their diagnostic value in female infertility investigation. In 67.1% of 164 cases the results of hysteroscopy and hysterosalpingography were in agreement. And in 78.3 of 92 cases, the resutts of hysteroscopy and endometrial biopsy were in agreement.
